This Makes Two

Look I'm posting!

I've been looking over the few posts that I have managed to post, and it looks like I'm not a very good writer. Part of the attraction of reading a blog is that they are lovingly crafted by someone with a fantastic grasp of the English language. They can throw together witty sentences that delight or inspire the reader. Then there are the ones who are just really good at putting words together on the fly. This is a skill I need.

This isn't a unique statement or goal, but I'd like to be a writer. I'm throwing my money (or my mother's money) at obtaining a degree in the field of Anthropology, in hopes of going to work in Mexico. But deep down, I want to write. I guess this is going to be my practice. I'd ask for suggestions of what people would like to see. I can review books or music, talk about ancient Mexico, I can post arts and crafts, or I can turn this into an emo like rant. I could do this, but as of this point, there is only one person who checks in on this space, so asking would be over rated. (Feel free to make suggestions anyway) Until I come up with some kind of aim for this place, expect rants and random things. I'll work on my vocab, and you guys work on existing. I'll have readers one day!

Next!

So it's been awhile... again. On the up side, this means I have new pictures to post. Life's been good, crazy, but good. I'm taking a Cyberpunk English class. I'm getting credit for doing my fun reading now, so I'm happy. There's an issue brewing at school over something very close to my heart, but I think I'll save that for another post because I might have pictures then.

For now, some art.

This was a commission for a friend at The Table. She found some of my doodles and told me I should post on DeviantArt. After I told her that my drawing skills pretty much maxed out at cute mushrooms, she pushed me in to doing this for her. She picked the colors, and was very happy to get this in return. I'm happy she pushed me into it. I think this turned out really cute.

If you don't get this, then google it. I'd go with the Urban Dictionary's definition. It's not quite done yet. I threw it together with some felt I scavenged off of someone else at The Table. What can I say, boys game, and girls craft and game.
